Made for Bullet Hell Jam V

A bit about me, I haven't attempted to code a game since high school just shy of 20 years ago. One thing I can say is it is much easier to make "something". For a 10 day project I nearly implemented what I had envisioned mechanic wise at least. Which is honestly more than I expected.

With the theme being consequences I decided to tie the power up mechanic to intentionally getting close to projectiles. But not too close or of course you die ;). If things get too hairy  there is a screen clear that can be used once you have powered up at least one level. Using this may get you out of a pickle but it completely drains your power ups.

There are two enemy types one of which has multiple firing patterns. The spawn mechanics are random and endless. So each playthrough should be a bit different from the last. As you play the time between spawn is decreased.

Even in death the cycle starts anew.

Install instructions
